MindShift Career Solution is a career company that is aimed at helping people make informed career decisions by providing them with career tips, advice, and services.


Challenge: Low revenue and income due to little brand awareness and visibility.


My Roles in MindShift

Major role: To help the brand gain awareness and visibility, and also increase income and revenue.
Additional roles: 
  • Create a sales funnel for the brand, and make sure it is flexible and adjustable to market changes.
  • Create a landing page for the brand's ads.
  • Lead the team on practical ways to increase the company's visibility organically
  • Set, analyze and monitor the brand's social media ads.
  • Generate leads, nurture, and follow up on the leads using email marketing.
  • Give suggestive advice on marketing and business growth.


Actions took

As an Associate Digital Marketer, of MindShift Career Solution, I rendered my service in the following areas.
  • I planned and executed all digital marketing, including marketing database, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • I designed, built, and maintained the company's social media presence.
  • I Measured and reported the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assessed against goals (ROI and KPIs). 
  • Brainstormed new and creative growth strategies.
  • Developed lead magnets (eBooks and Virtual webinars) for effective lead generation and email marketing.
  • Develop flexible sales funnels to help achieve the brand's marketing goals.

Recommendations

The following recommendations were given to MindShift Career Solutions on how to consistently stay relevant in the marketplace and maintain revenue inflow.
  • To achieve desired growth, the company should focus on creating solutions for the problem of their customers through their products and services.

  • There should be consistency in publishing content across all the company's social media platforms, so as to maintain awareness and visibility.

  • Every lead magnet to be designed should focus on creating value for the company's audience. If the lead magnets can create value and solve a problem, the leads generated through them will not hesitate to patronize the company's services.

  • Custom events should be tracked on the company's website to help the company understand the different actions people are taking on their different web pages.

  • The leads generated should be nurtured and followed up on leveraging email marketing, if the company must convert those leads.

  • Emails should be sent out to the company's email subscribers twice a week to maintain the relationship between potential customers and the company.

  • Everyone in the company should be held accountable for hitting the company's goals.

  • Social media ads should be often invested in, as that gives the company the privilege of reaching out to potential customers beyond their organic reach.




Below are some of the lead magnets developed to help the company generate leads.


Lead magnet 1:
This lead magnet was developed to help increase the community of people who are interested in the company's product. The strategy of event hosting was utilized. Where I worked with the company's director to source for a speaker whose passion and drive are affiliated with the company's services. After which we started the mind mapping and planning of the event. Organic and paid adverts were done to bring the company's audience to grace the event. During the planning of the event, we forecasted the number of 250 participants who will be actively present in the event. But, we had an increase in the number of people we forecasted (a total of 650 participants were registered, which was over 250% of the forecasted number). Which contributed to the increase of the company's customer base by 100%.












Lead Magnet 2: This lead magnet was created with the purpose of helping the company generate leads of email subscribers. With it the company was able to increase its email subscribers by 250%.
Which one of the end result was sales of the company's products and services. About 20% of the entire company sales and revenue came from the email subscribers, which all came through the lead magnet.
